Akvaforsk Genetics Center AS (AFGC) is rapidly expanding its activities in major aquaculture species and is offering exciting career opportunities for highly skilled and motivated candidates.

Successful applicants will join the AFGC team operating large scale selective breeding programs for fish and crustaceans world wide. We are primarily seeking candidates with an M.D. or Ph.D. degree in quantitative genetics or animal breeding with experience from genetic improvement work in aquaculture species. Trainee positions may be considered for outstanding candidates with limited formal background.

The positions are based at AFGC's head quarters in Sunndalsøra, Norway. International travel is to be expected. Salary is commensurate with level of experience.
