Extended collaboration between KEGO and Akvaforsk Genetics Center
New agreement between KEGO S.A. of Greece and Akvaforsk Genetics Center (AFGC) to expand the exclusive collaboration on the development of the selection programs for sea bream (Sparus aurata) and sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax).

The successful collaboration of KEGO and AFGC on the development of the globally pioneering selective breeding programs for sea bream and sea bass enters a new phase as the two parties recently signed a new agreement.

This agreement involves the expansion of the exclusivity from the Eastern Mediterranean region, as was the case so far, to the entire world until 2014.

AFGC of Norway is a leading organization in the field of fish breeding programs worldwide.

The new agreement gives KEGO a strategic competitive advantage as a supplier of selected breeding stock for sea bream and sea bass on the global scale.
